New ancestors
When you go inside, you don’t see anything for a while. There is a typical smell. Together with your niece you have come here to place your uncle in this hunebed. Once your eyes have become accustomed to the darkness, you look around. One of the side stones of the tomb is sagging and is leaning against the many earthenware pots. Some of them look really old. Bones of your ancestors are everywhere. You find a suitable place to lay your uncle to rest forever. The rituals of the ceremony are about to begin: there is the sound of fire stone being struck to start a fire in honour of your uncle, who has now become one of the ancestors.
