Plenty of stories
A burial mound is a monument. There lies not only a person, but also a hero's story. But sometimes history weighs so heavily that no one can measure up to the heroes of the past. This was likely the case at the beginning of the Bronze Age. Between 2000 and 1800 BCE, almost no new burial mounds were constructed, and therefore, no new stories were added to the landscape. However, people did make offerings near the old monuments. They buried pottery upside down near the burial mounds. lt is likely that these pots contained offerings.
