Weapons for the gods 

The sword (1) is the first invention specifically intended to kill other human beings. This symbol of power and violence was a popular sacrifice. So were spearheads, which also often disappeared into the ground. Sometimes small (3), but also gigantic ones (4). Some swords (2) were deliberately broken prior to sacrifice. Perhaps to blame the sword for the murder it committed?
